Berlin is one of the most diverse cities in the world. From its arts districts to its historical sites you can find something for everyone. So grab a Donkey Bike at one of our many spots in the city and join the millions of locals who occupy the city every day and explore Berlin on a bike.

Here are some great locations that you can visit on a bike to experience the city in a different way.

Tiergarten

Bike through Tiergarten – a beautiful experience in the summertime, in the middle of Tiergarten you can rest at Café am Neuen See. Grab a bike to eat, and enjoy a large beer while taking in the view of the lake. If you want to change things up you can also jump off the bikes for a moment and rent a small boat to sail around on the lake.

Tempelhof

A must in the summer and a great trip on your bike there exploring the city on the way. Tempelhof is a rare green public space with over 12 km². a vast field where locals of all ages and tribes find rest from the hustle and bustle of the city. The field is filled with people sunbathing, drinking and having a good time. There is a famous German Biergarten, a little dog park and food trucks. And if you are lucky you might spot the phenomenon of the year: the roller skater @oumi_janta

Maybachufer

Bike along Maybachufer in Kreuzberg/Neukölln. Start with the flea market at Maybachufer and then explore the surronding areas where many  locals gather. Cycle down Weserstrasse and the surrounding streets – where you will find a variety of bars and restaurants in that area. Such as Beuster – a chic but über cool French bistro, Motif Wein which serves only natural wine and tequila shots in a tiny sparsely decorated room, Nathanja & Heinrich for great cocktails and great beer, Kitten Deli for the best hummus in town, Gazzo or W Pizza for the best pizzas or Chica which is serves some of the best Peruvian ceviche.
