How to get your discount

Check the list of schools to see if yours takes part and which email domain to sign up with

Step 2

Sign up with your student email

Create your account in the Donkey Republic app using your student email address. We verify it automatically.

Step 3

Select your membership and ride

You'll see a discounted student option under Memberships. We reverify your email once a year, so the discount stays for as long as you're studying.

Do I need to upload a student card?

No – your student email is all we need. Verification happens automatically when you create your account.

How long does the discount last?

We reverify your student email once a year. As long as it's still active, your discount stays.

Can I use my student membership in another city?

Your student membership works in the city where your school takes part. If you move, you can sign up again with a participating school in your new city.

My school isn't on the list

We're adding schools all the time. Get in touch and we'll look into adding yours.

I'm on exchange – can I still get the discount?

Yes. If your host school gives you a student email on one of the listed domains, you can sign up like any other student.
